How dependent is my income on a few holdings?
An income question asks what a portfolio pays out: dividends, interest and distributions. The answer looks at what was actually received over a period, and at the yield that implies against what the positions cost or are worth now.
Worked through on a sample portfolio. The figures below are that portfolio’s, not yours.
Here’s how concentrated your dividend income is, and which holdings provide it.
| Asset | Dividend income (€) | Share of dividend income (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Deutsche Lufthansa AG | 330,00 € | 100,00% |
Summary: all dividend payments in the reported period came from Deutsche Lufthansa AG (100,00% of income). In the last 12 months total dividend income is 330,00 €, which is +0,36% yield on current portfolio value and +0,47% yield on cost.
Notes:
- The table shows cash dividends only for the period 13/05/2026; other holdings did not pay dividends in that window.
- If you ask for a different date range I can show concentration for that period.
